Ok so I have had a crochet kit that I got when I brought the knitting kit to teach me how to knit.

I know how to crochet but I will be honest and tell you I have never really read the directions before. Always had someone show me how to do a project.

This project helped me get the basic terms down for crochetting.

Lion Brand Chucky USA
1 Skein #101 Cherry Blossom
Size P-15 (10mm) crochet hook

Make slip knot & then chain 21 loosely

Row 1 Single crochet in fifth chain from hook for first loop, *chain 3, skip next 3 chains, single crochet in next chain; repeat from * across- 5 loops.

Row 2 Chain 3, turn. Single crochet in first loop, *chain 3, single crochet in next loop; repeat from * across- 5 loops.

Repeat Row 2 until all yarn has been used.

Great looking scarf! :D Good for you learning how to read the directions - that will open a whole new world of projects to you. Not that the directions are always crystal clear... :P I keep a reference book handy so I can look things up if I don't understand. ;)
