Well.... my hands and forearms hurt a bit from knitting with a material that is not very giving. But it is fun!!!!!! I can't wait to share the finished project with folks!
* * * EDIT *** I was looking around dA tonight and found someone else has a tutorial. How funny that two people did this! So please check her out and give her some love! She is new to dA and her tutorial is wonderful. In fact I like the way she connects each strip together better then the basic knot I was doing as per directions I found and use. So go check out ~SuperBunny-GO's tutorial [link]
Way cool, Kim! I've heard of people knitting or crocheting with plastic bags before but couldn't quite figure out how it was done. I'm very curious to see what you're making!

I've done this with crochet before! I've made a bag to store paper grocery bags in and one of those "pull-through" dispensers for plastic bags!
Only I haven't done it ages mainly because it took me forever to prep the strips (I cut them in a spiral instead of loops) and I quite agree, plastic is quite a workout for one's hands & shoulders! Fun to do the ultimate in recycling, though!
